Female patient with a history of obesity and related comorbidities, who entered the bariatric program at CER with an initial weight of 215 lbs. She underwent a vertical sleeve gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve) as a definitive treatment for weight loss and metabolic improvement. Within three months post-op, the patient was able to discontinue her blood pressure medication, reflecting a notable improvement in her cardiovascular health. She currently maintains a weight of 159 lbs, marking a significant reduction in body mass and a positive impact on her quality of life and self-esteem.

Paciente femenina con antecedente de obesidad y comorbilidades asociadas, quien ingresó al programa bariátrico de CER con un peso inicial de 215 libras. Fue intervenida con una gastrectomía vertical en manga (Gastric Sleeve) como tratamiento definitivo para la pérdida de peso y la mejora de su salud metabólica. Durante los primeros tres meses posteriores a la cirugía, la paciente logró suspender el tratamiento farmacológico para la hipertensión arterial, reflejando una mejora sustancial en su perfil cardiovascular.
