She has achieved a total weight loss of 58 lb, currently weighing 177 lb, and has gone from a size 18 to a size 10 in clothing. The patient reports significant improvement in both physical and mental well-being. At this stage, she is experiencing temporary hair loss, a common postoperative occurrence, and is under nutritional follow-up for management. Overall progress is positive, with no major complications reported.

Paciente femenina con antecedentes de obesidad, quien ingresó con un peso inicial de 235 lb y fue sometida a gastrectomía en manga (gastric sleeve) en CER Bariatrics. A la fecha, ha logrado una reducción ponderal de 58 lb, alcanzando un peso de 177 lb, lo que ha representado también una transición de talla de ropa de 18 a talla 10. La paciente reporta una notable mejoría tanto en su estado físico como emocional. Actualmente presenta alopecia temporal, un efecto común en la fase postoperatoria temprana, sin otras complicaciones asociadas. Se encuentra en proceso de seguimiento nutricional para el manejo de este síntoma, con evolución general favorable.
