Female patient with a history of Class II obesity who underwent gastric sleeve surgery at CER Bariatrics in 2022. Prior to the procedure, she reported daily functional limitations, chronic fatigue, and joint discomfort. At her 2-year postoperative follow-up, she has achieved a total weight loss of 90 pounds, transitioning from a size 14 to a size 0/2. She now reports significant improvements in overall quality of life, including increased physical energy, improved mobility, and active participation in family and recreational activities. Although she occasionally struggles with body image adjustment, she expresses overall satisfaction with both functional and emotional outcomes.

Paciente femenina con antecedentes de obesidad grado II, intervenida mediante cirugía de manga gástrica en CER Bariatrics en 2022. La paciente refería limitaciones funcionales, fatiga crónica y molestias articulares previas al procedimiento. En el seguimiento a 2 años postoperatorio, ha logrado una pérdida ponderal total de 90 libras, pasando de una talla 14 a una talla 0/2. Se documenta una mejoría notable en su calidad de vida, con mayor energía, movilidad, y participación activa en actividades familiares y recreativas. A pesar de experimentar dificultades ocasionales en la adaptación a su nueva imagen corporal, reporta satisfacción general con los resultados funcionales y emocionales obtenidos.
